We are Implementing the business process workflow management system for Tekoptimize's Xenon product.Expressing the Xenon business process in a simple and powerfull process language and packaged in process archives, serve as input for the tomcat server.
we are using jBPM which is a flexible, extensible java based workflow management system designed by JBoss, a division of Red Hat.

JBoss jBPM combines easy development of workflow-applications with excellent enterprise application integration (EAI) capabilities. We are integrating this business process in Xenon enterprise application developed on java/j2EE environment.

JBPM provides features like Build Escalation Functionality, Capture Approvals, Send Email Reminders, etc.Once the process archive is loaded, users or systems perform single steps of the process.JBoss jBPM maintains the state, logs and performs all automated actions asynchronously.

We imlemented task assignments, approvals and rejections as well as the periodic status mails on hourly basis for each release available in Xenon.
